Chapter 1. General Provisions

Article 1 (Purpose)

The purpose of these Terms is to set out the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between Sling Inc. (the "Company") and Members in connection with the use of moly, an AI-based language learning service, and its associated features (collectively, the "Service"), as well as the conditions for using paid services and other necessary matters.

Article 2 (Definitions)

The terms used in these Terms have the following meanings.

  1. "Service" means the AI character conversation, speech input and playback, translation, correction and feedback, suggested replies, relationship scores, learning support, Gems, and other supplementary features provided in the moly iOS application.
  2. "Member" means a person aged 14 or older who has agreed to these Terms and entered into a Service use agreement with the Company.
  3. "Anonymous account" means an account created by the Service issuing a Firebase user identifier, without separate email registration.
  4. "Apple-linked account" means an account to which Sign in with Apple has been linked, or which is authenticated through Sign in with Apple.
  5. "User Input" means text, speech, feedback, reports, and other information that a Member enters into or transmits to the Service.
  6. "AI Output" means replies, translations, corrections, explanations, suggested sentences, images, audio, and other output generated by artificial intelligence based on User Input and the context of the Service.
  7. "Content" means all materials provided or processed through the Service, including User Input, AI Output, characters and scenarios, images, audio, text, and software.
  8. "Gems" means the electronic means of payment used when using certain AI replies or paid features within the Service. Gems are divided into paid Gems and free or bonus Gems granted by the Company at no charge.
  9. "Paid service" means a service or digital content that a Member uses for consideration, such as Gems purchased through App Store in-app purchase.
  10. "Operational Policy" means the detailed usage standards the Company publishes within the Service to supplement these Terms.
  11. "Character" means an artificial intelligence conversation partner configured within the Service by the Company or by a Member.
  12. "Safety measures" means technical and administrative measures, such as filtering and usage restrictions, that the Company applies to limit the content of AI Output in accordance with applicable law and the Operational Policy.

Terms not defined in these Terms are governed by applicable law, the Operational Policy, and general commercial practice.

The Company displays the following information within the Service or on the linked legal information screen so that users can readily find it.
